Getting Back from Mars, For Dummies.
Let's assume you used the Basic Dragon to get to Mars, built some stuff and need to get back.
Oh wait, you can't get back from Mars to Earth directly. But there is a solution.
- 1 Step one: Fully refuel your spacecraft.
- 2 Step two: Fly to one of the martian moons.
- 3 Step three: Go back to Earth
- 4 AND YOU'RE DONE!
This might sound like a no-brainer to you but it's essential if you want to get back to earth to pick up some workers or bring back Materials. If you CAN'T refuel it, Send a basic supply craft full of chem-fuel to Mars. At level 1, they have a range of 1 AU, so just wait for a time where Earth and Mars get close to each-other. Remember to bring fuel for the journey.
