Deimos is a moon where players can send additional satellites and landers. The reward to send a satellite to Deimos nets 100 credits. It is the smaller of the two natural satellites of Mars.
Deimos' total surface area is just 483 km2, so it is not necessary to invest in any additional scanning equipment. However, it contains few resources as a result.
As the smallest body in the solar system capable of having an Outpost, it can be a useful refuelling point, since the cost to arrive and depart is minimal. It is also a suitable site for landing tourists and having them perform repeated flybys to consume their budget.
