Mercury is the closest planet to the Sun. Named after the Roman messenger God due to being the fastest planet in our Solar System to orbit the Sun. Despite the fastest trip around the Sun, Mercury's rotation is very slow – around 59 Earth days equates to one day on Mercury. Containing no atmosphere and made mostly of iron it is the second densest planet in our Solar System.
Exploration Rewards[]
Scanning Mercury with a satellite for the first time will reward the player with 100 credits. Note that although it is easily reachable with a satellite, and a Bullet Mk 1 requires only a single range upgrade, it is not so easy to land on, due to its greater gravity compared to eg the Moon, and will require similar chemical efficiency to Mars.
